What is a Torte?
The
definition of a torte is basically a cake that has been cut into
three layers and filled with any of a variety of fillings. They
are typically presented in an unusual or elegant manner. At
Edible Delights we prepare most of our tortes with either a
mousse or fruit filling, although chocolate is quite popular.

Black Forest Torte

layers of fresh moist rich gold cake filled with Bavarian cream
and topped with fudge icing.
Lemon Mousse Torte
light
lemon cake layered with lemon filling and lemon mousse garnished
with more lemon mousse and lemon spirals. A true lemon
lovers delight.
Mandarin Orange Torte

layers of orange cake with two layers of pineapple orange
filling with whipped cream that has mandarin oranges in the
middle, topped with mandarin oranges and chocolate scrolls.
Mocha Mousse Torte

layers of chocolate cake separated by mocha mousse and topped
with rosettes of mocha butter crème and chocolate coffee beans.
Peanut Butter Torte
chocolate cake with peanut butter cream icing, delicately
garnished with dark chocolate graffiti.
